2018/12/05. The Science & Motion (SAM) Sports Academy conducted three SAM PuttLab Putting Instructor certifications in Asia this month, presented by Dr. Christian Marquardt (SAM PuttLab inventor). The first took place at the studio of our sales representative Rock Wu in Taiwan/Taipeh, the second at the Shenzhen Noble Merchant in China and the third at the Thana City Golf & Sports Club in Thailand/Bangplee.
More than 40 local Golfpros, club fitters and driving range owners attended the one day Level 1 and Level 2 certifications which covered professional use of the SAM PuttLab system, SAM PuttLab fitting, the fundamentals of putting, SAM training concepts, professional putting lessons, green reading and many more aspects of putting.
“Our first live seminars in Taiwan, China and Thailand have been a great success, the participants have been very engaged in being educated and it was also interesting to see how the golf market in Asia develops fast,” Christian Marquardt said after the courses. “It has been a very intensive week for me with tons of interesting discussions and impressions. We will definitely come back to also conduct Level3 seminars as well as offering more open seminars on teaching and coaching putting.”
The SAM Sports team thanks both golf clubs involved for hosting and Rock Wu, who helped us with the organization of the first big SAM Academy onsite event in Asia.
